A Shop We Love: LA's ST&NDARD GOODS

In a city where things go "out" just as quickly as they are "in" - the less-than-a-year-old ST&NDARD GOODS remains firmly planted on busy Beverly Boulevard thanks to the store's carefully chosen goods.

Tapping KnowHow Shop - a co-op fabrication spot in Highland Park - the interiors feature subtle yet imaginative details. A closer look at door frames, shelving and displays reveal the imaginative details that KnowHow is known for. This of course is just another testament to the taste of owner Garrett Colton.

A small general store for those that love clean design and a distinctive selection, the space is stocked with clothing, design products, books and accessories. However, our favorite aspect of this hidden gem is the small, unique handpicked collection of wall art and one-of-a-kind pieces that are ripe for the plucking.

The shop's Guest Buyer Series is a fresh and original concept that brings rare collectibles and hard-to-find decor accessories to customers. Hand selected goods from flea markets, estate sales, and beyond, by creative, professionals like Kevin West, Brian Ferry and Miles Fisher. All proceeds from the one-of-a-kind piece go to the charity of the Guest Buyer's choice.
