Casual comfort meets industrial-chic interior in this Erin Martin-designed space (she's the same designer behind one of our all-time favorite Wine Country homes). This wood-fire, pie-tossing joint is everything its sister haunt Redd is not. Sleek-yet-approachable with exposed, wooden lath-lined walls, mismatched chairs and eclectic pieces all contributing to the relaxed vibe. The “Wappo Hill” emblazoned mailbox parked at the center of the custom-fabricated wine wall sparks conversation, while the handwritten quotes scribbled throughout the space speak volumes.

Corrugated metal on the outside deceives for what awaits on the inside of this Howard Backen-designed space. The barn-style ceiling is lowered and stylized with head-grazing lamps that dangle throughout. A gigantic, hanging distressed mirror frames the dining area as traditional walls make way for an abundance of paned windows, bathing the space in light. The inviting outdoor patio is fitted with cozy seating and a fireplace, encouraging you to sink in around the flames as you glance at pristine views of Wine Country.

Memories of St. Helena’s AKA Bistro are washed away with an explosion of sea blue style that smacks more of South Beach than South of the Border. The mounted moose stuck at the center of the tequila bar could look garish but instead softens with soothing color palettes and swaying solo light bulbs strewn from the ceiling. Hard back seating mixes with butter soft banquets furthering the casual-meets-electrifying vibe. Architecture comes at the hands of Jon Lail with design by Joel Mozersky.

We love this sleek, hip spot that dazzles with thematic layouts throughout. Each nook boasts unique style while staying true to the overall design sense. The speakeasy area blends wood and metal elements while the wine cork floors and redwood tables put local finds to good use. The European style bar and wine wall impress not only in design but with a showcase of more than 1300 wines, 40 available by the glass.
