Tom Callaway's professional story reads like the plot of a yet-to-be made movie: After working for twenty years as an actor in LA and NY, he took on a project to design a home in LA from the ground up. That initial project was a catalyst for a huge career change, and Tom opened his own design practice Thomas Callaway and Associates in 1989. Since then, Tom has designed over 100 projects. And true to his initial inspiration many of these projects have included conceiving of all aspects of the design - including architecture and landscape. In 1990 Tom created his own furniture line, opened a gallery of art and artifacts cleverly named "Stuff Tom Likes" in 2012, and this year he is designing a new line of textiles and wallpapers!
Instead of focusing on "shock and awe," we adore that you can feel Tom's love of traditional interiors with tons of warmth and texture when looking at his work and couldn't be more please to bring you his answers to the Designer Crush Q&A!
