1. Who is your biggest role model?
My parents. They started my love for design and furniture 28 years ago when they decided to open a furniture manufacturing facility.
 
2. Which movie or play do you wish you could have designed the set for?
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
 
3. What is the best way to gauge a client’s personality before starting a project?
Asking their favorite colors. Colors speak a lot about a person and their personality.
 
4. What new design trends are you excited to integrate into your work?
Colors. Honestly, I’ve always been afraid of applying color to my work.
 
5. How do you completely unwind?
Underwater.
 
6. If you hadn't become a designer, which career would you have pursued?

7. What’s the worst pre-designer job you’ve ever had and why?
A professional bum. I wasted two years not doing anything with my life when I could’ve started my career earlier.
 
8. What’s your favorite recipe?
I love to cook for friends and family. Every new country I visit, I make it a point to take cooking classes and learn the local food. My favorite recipe would have to be Khao Soi from Northern Thailand.
