A few of the rooms, notably the bedrooms downstairs, retain their period details. It was these rooms that Interior designers Susan Collins Weir and Chris Weir of Studio Collins Weir were hired to furnish. They created custom pieces, including beds and armoires, luxe in their attention to details and materials, which they had fabricated locally.  Once completed, their job was done.
