Bask in the Natural Light of a White-Washed Santa Monica Home

Nestled between the trees in rustic Santa Monica Canyon, this loft-like space designed by Griffin Enright Architects gives new meaning to the concept of natural lighting. Windows upon windows stack with geometrical precision on top of each other and open onto courtyards in both the front and back of the property. The sharp design and pristine white-washed walls of this home are highlighted by a wandering skylight that stretches from the front doors all the way to the back. Sharp angles and smooth concrete punctuate the tiered amphitheater and fireplace in the backyard. What can we say; we can't help it if we want to see and be seen at this impossibly cool Los Angeles house.
