“The backyard was really awful with red and pink paver track that didn’t look at all like a backyard; it looked like a driveway.” Dipaola and Weber put down grasscrete, so it looks like grass but it can be driven on. A firepit, outdoor seating, and a wooden balcony create a space that’s ideal for entertaining. “It’s ready for a little lap pool or a dunk pool to be dropped into it, although we haven’t done that yet.” A sleek white garage is a showcase for his wheels, including a Ducati motorcycle, “I wanted it to look like an aircraft hanger,” says Dipaola, who is an avid pilot.
