Tour this Potrero Hill Home Framed for Controversial Art

Jeff Dauber admits it was mere curiosity that drew him and his new partner, Marc Levin, to the home of an elderly neighbor after she died and her Potrero Hill residence went on the market. His sarcastic greeting to the real estate agent at the entry was "I'm a neighbor, and I am only here to see where she keeps her underwear." But he got serious when he spied a big backyard from the first floor windows. By the time he reached the top level, with its views of downtown San Francisco and Mission Bay, he knew his life was about to change. The art collector and tech virtuoso commissioned architect Thom Faulders design the home for him, his partner and his eye-popping works.
