Industrial Charm Works in a Former Office Space

Landscape architect Aron Nussbaum researched the history of a downtown Los Angeles loft building before beginning his design process. The building was built in the 1920s as an office building, so he wanted to capture the energy of that era including the economy, industry, and global influence of the time. He brought in old stage lights and industrial furniture, but also added a global influence with a large Pakistani area rug and an overload of indoor plants.
