Palermo says the gumball machines are locked for health reasons — not only are the machines vintage, but the candy is as well. In preparation for a Disney presentation, Junk Food created distressed signage for the candy dispensers to highlight the vintage appeal of Disney. Palermo admits that there is plenty of edible junk food around the office — one staffer regularly brings in inventive baked treats, such as chocolate chip cookies baked around Oreos.
