Palermo and May made numerous trips to the Rose Bowl Flea Market to amass this collection of wood crates, some of which are supposedly from the Queen’s farm in England. They also distressed the metal sign with paint peeler to give it a more vintage look.
Palermo says that it’s been an organic process of making the space Junk Food’s own. “Everyone is an artist here, so we’re trying to create an environment where people feel inspired,” he explains. “We’re all down to earth. It helps to settle into a place that feels like that.”
