LA's Storybook Cottages: The Architectural Style that Inspired Disney's Snow White

The Los Feliz neighborhood just north of downtown Los Angeles boasts its share of architectural wonders: Both Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ennis House and Richard Neutra’s modern Lovell House sit within its boundaries. But the hilly suburb bordering Griffith Park has also played a lesser-known role in the cultural landscape. It’s home to a small complex of storybook cottages that helped inspire the first full-length animated film in America, Walt Disney’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
