“Everyone who saw the house told us to run away and never look back,” interior designer Cari Berg says of the hillside home in Encino that she and her husband, Corii, purchased eight years ago. Originally owned by Lamonte McLemore, the lead singer of the 1960s band the 5th Dimension, the far-out residence was far gone. After 18 months of work, the completed interiors are both family friendly and fabulous enough for the fashionable couple.
