The interiors of the residence are done in desert hues and feature sculpture, paintings and porcelain works collected by the Annenbergs throughout their lifetimes. Haines designed custom furnishings exclusively for the Sunnylands residence, and added many antiques to the mix, such as a pair of cloisonné cranes which are perched in the main living room.
