The sofas and coffee table in the family room, one of the private spaces, was created by Chris Barrett Studio. “We also designed the millwork in this room, including the custom iron piece in the center,” Barrett notes, “as well as the blue cabinet which folds down to become a desk.” A dry painted finish, burnished with dark wax, gives it a Scandinavian feel. The stools are vintage.
