Building a home on one of San Francisco’s many narrow and sloping lots is always a challenge, but one that was taken head on by the designers at John Maniscalco Architecture. “On urban lots we often try to make spaces feel bigger than they are, this naturally leads to open floor plans,” Design Principal John Maniscalco says about his latest project on 25th Street.
The exterior of the house that runs along 25h Street in San Francisco uses a bevy of materials: custom-colored cement, painted plate steel and Western red cedar.
