Building a home on one of San Francisco’s many narrow and sloping lots is always a challenge, but one that was taken head on by the designers at John Maniscalco Architecture. “On urban lots we often try to make spaces feel bigger than they are, this naturally leads to open floor plans,” Design Principal John Maniscalco says about his latest project on 25th Street.
A bold white Calcutta marble is used for both the kitchen island and as a massive backsplash behind the range. A wall of cabinets made form rift white oak provides storage and conceals the refrigerator.
