Jadeite Adds a Hint of Mint to Retro-Inspired Rooms

The soft and striking beauty of Jadeite proves that a little hint of mint can go a long way.‬ The Anchor Hocking company first started producing the "Fire King" line in the 1940s as durable, oven-safe kitchenware. They released many colors, but milky Jadeite green was the most popular. It was used to make everything from dishes, to salt shakers, to nesting bowls. Although initially beloved for everyday use, the vintage pieces are now hot collectors’ items. Whether original or a replica, the unique opaque hue makes the milk glass kitchenware a lovely addition to retro-inspired living.
