Bold elements make this dining room fit for a fabulous dinner party. The rough-edged dining table comes courtesy of New York City's Hudson Furniture, while the chairs were custom designed by Jennifer Dyer of Jeneration Interiors in West Hollywood.

    Dining Made Simple
Designed by Nic Ehr, Remick Associates

This dining room is opened up by multiple french doors that lead to the outdoor eating area. Light wood chairs matched with an all white dining table, all by Design Within Reach, create a beautiful contrast in this airy space.

    Underwater Dream

With its wall of sliding doors, this dining room offers a virtual alfresco experience. The room is a celebration of California craftsmanship: Bay Area ironsmith Carl Jennings designed the vintage chandelier over the table, and the intricately carved door hanging on the wall is the work of San Diego sculptor Svetozar Radakovich.

    Perfect Pairs
    Designed by Ken Linsteadt

A study in symmetry, this dining room pairs a concrete table with iron legs with linen-slipcovered benches. The fireplace is flanked by booksheleves painted a dark gray to offset their contents.
