The 2013 Nor Cal National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) Design Competition yielded impressive results, take a peek at this year's winners.
The tired, dated 80's kitchen was uninspiring for the French chef that lives in this tiny home built in 1917. In the remodeled space, a dramatic skylight floods the kitchen with natural light highlighting the Sapele Mahogany cabinetry, recycled concrete and glass counter tops, and the linear glass backsplash tile. Using stainless steel as art, the designer created a modern breakfast bar that is the perfect compliment for the contemporary Italian designed hood.
