Quiet Down: The Muted Palette

Alongside marble, minimalism, farm house, luxe injections of velvet, Pantone's greenery and navy taking over for black, sits the muted palette, one of 2017’s heavy hitting design touches--but with the softest approach. The delicate combination of colors shows up at a time when people are taking a break from many of the bold patterns that dominated in year past and replacing them with shades that feel both comfortable and elevated all at once. As the world moves into a new year and a new age, so does design and that move is for design to feel less confrontational and aggressive and more warm and approachable, but still at the pinnacle of chic.
