Design Digest: Nate Berkus for Target Preview
Strap on your running shoes for another Target capsule collection. Check out our preview of 30 items from interior designer Nate Berkus before they hit stores on October 21.

Nate Berkus fabric-covered crosshatch tray, $25, and decorative sea urchins in white or brass, $10. At 18x13 inches, this is big enough to corral my inbox craziness.

Nate Berkus Hammered Brass Bowls, $8–$15. I love these for their versatility, and would fill them with a batch of Moscow Mule's during a party.

Nate Berkus sculpted branch lamp base, $40, and drum shade in natural, $25. This fits into modern or traditional homes due to its sculptural shape and elemental and natural finishes.

Nate Berkus Aztec diamond curtain in charcoal; Inca print curtain in charcoal; textured solid curtain in slate, $25 each. These give you a scrim of stylish privacy without blocking too much light.

Nate Berkus stone picture frames in marble, slate and bone, $8–$13. These top my favorite's list, and since I can't decide which one I love more, I'll be buying all three. The slate finish begs for a chalk inscription and treasured photo for a friend's birthday.

Nate Berkus decorative ram’s head, $15; quilted lacquer 5”x7” picture frame in yellow, $10; round studded tray in brown, $25. Studs are a great way to update your decor for fall, and the ram's head will be my new upright mail holder.

Nate Berkus snakeskin and wood box, $25. This is how a Texas girl like her snakes: decorative and fang-free. I love the mix of texture from the tough brass and supple skin.

Nate Berkus gold broken stripe pillow and indigo star ikat pillow, $25 each. Boho foreign flavor comes in pairs when you mix these two styles.

Nate Berkus brass vases, $20 and $25. These remind me of vintage cigarette cases and make great Art Deco accessories.

Nate Berkus braided jute rug in bronze: 2x3 feet, $35; 5x7 feet, $160. My only complaint is that these doesn't come in larger sizes. It's such a great foil to tone down the formal feel of a traditional dining room.

Nate Berkus lacquer tortoise wall accessory in green and cream, $40. Also available in yellow. A meeting of the minds for the culty worlds of taxidermy and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Nate Berkus dip-dyed shower curtain in Aegean Sea, $25, and Aztec diamond bath rug in ultramarine and wheat, $20. The patterned bath mats act like neutrals while the curtain gives your bathroom a chic hippie vibe.

Nate Berkus harbor large bath canister in gray, $13; soap dish, soap pump and bath tumbler in gray, $10. The earthy stone canisters feel modern with clean lines and a wash of deep gray color.

Nate Berkus signature bath, hand & wash towels in ultramarine, $6-$10; ikat towels in ultramarine, $6-$10. Score. These are plush enough for the beach, but stylish enough for the guest bath.

Nate Berkus mini Nepal chevron duvet set in onyx, $90 for full or queen; Saville Row pillow in white, $25; chunky knit pillow in cream with gold detailing, $25; and scattered stud pillow in charcoal or chocolate, $35. The Nepal chevron is my favorite of the bunch, and would blend seamlessly into a room with kilim-rug accents.
