1. How did you two meet and how did you decide to go into business together?Barbara: We met on Bastille day in 2001 at a friend’s party in Recoleta, Buenos Aires. William’s sister was studying abroad in Buenos Aires and I met him on his second night there. It was definitely love at first sight.

1. How did you get your start in the modern furnishings world and how did the decision to open DZINE come about?I earned a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 1999, after which I worked for several architecture and design firms in San Francisco.

1. How did you get your start in design? In college, I got a job at a fabric store where my best friend (now our Director of Procurement, Jennifer Latimer) was working as a bookkeeper.
