Testimonials

"I had a very good experience with Porcelanosa. My husband and I ordered some listello tile - not a huge order but you wouldn't know it based on the great customer service from Mayra. She was cordial and helpful every time I went (and I visited numerous times) and I appreciated it particularly when the kids were in tow. FYI my daughter loved the complimentary hot cocoa available. I would have given it five stars except that the prices are a bit high. However, they do have some gorgeous tile and I love my listello - can't wait to see it in my remodeled master bath!"
"Beautiful tiles. Nice showroom. Helpful and friendly staff, and fairly knowledgeable. Contractor's discount is 12.5%. You must buy tiles in boxes, so there may be more waste than usual. Plan carefully! Lots of sizes and styles. A bit pricey. You can get free samples of tiles if you ask. Check out the sales rack in the back left. Note that just because their name is "Porcelanosa" not all their tiles are porcelain, some are ceramic. Make sure you ask. A lot of the tiles are in stock and readily available or can be ordered quickly, and shipping isn't too terrible." "Update: Just wanted to add that our purchase went through very smoothly, no issues at all. My contractor also remarked that the tiles are very high quality, and were harder to cut than normal due to the density and strength. "These will last forever" he said. Sounds good to me!"
"I stopped off just to look because I figured I couldn't afford these tiles. Merced helped me and I was shocked because I could afford the tiles I wanted. My big mistake was not knowing enough about how to work with large tiles and there was more waste than there should have been. I called Merced to buy more - fortunately I could purchase by the sq ft and not the box. Merced told me he would be off on Mon and back on Tues. On Sat, he called me to remind me of his day off and that I still could come into the store. I went down on Tues - picked up my tiles. Merced was fabulous and really helpful. His call as a reminder was excellent customer service, above and beyond. Now if I could afford to redo whatever I want with Porcelanosa products, that would be fun. TXS Merced."
"The biggest problem with Porcelanosa is that all their tiles are so beautiful, it's impossible to decide what to use. If you're like me, you'll end up falling in love with a bunch of stuff and then struggle with how to make them all work in your project. Sure they're more expensive than Home Depot, if that's what you're comparing them to, but you shouldn't be. Their prices were better than other high-end tiles I looked at, while still being among the most beautiful. And lastly, the staff were extremely helpful (unlike many other home supply stores - cough, DJ Mehler, cough), especially Caroline, who has helped me through multiple crises and changes of plans. She always got what I was trying to do, had great suggestions, and has just been beyond wonderful! Since I live in SF, they haven't been the first place I go for tiles, but (note to self) they should be. After days/weeks of shopping closer to home, trying to fix some design dilemma, I'll eventually find myself back at Porcelanosa, and it always resolves itself."
"I redid my entire house last summer and decided to go to Porcelanosa instead of the usual Home Depot or Orchard Supply and got a recommendation from a friend. As I walked into the showroom one of the sales people immediately helped me decide which tiles and what colors would look nice in my home. They were SUPER helpful, polite and just overall awesome! A big difference from Home Depot where I am always ignored and pretty much have to LOOK for someone to help me! Their tile is of very good quality and just overall beautiful! I refer them to all my family and friends who are getting their houses re-modeled!"
