Studio Snaidero Bay Area has been a unique resource for exceptional kitchens in the Bay Area and throughout the United States since 1996. This year we celebrate 15 years in the Marin representing Snaidero, Italy's premier manufacturer of contemporary kitchens. Owner Michael Glasser, with a background in fine arts, design and home construction, has specialized exclusively in European cabinetry for 25 years.
Founded in 1946, Snaidero has always pushed the boundaries of kitchen design, notably through collaborations with some of Italy's most prestigious designers. Inviting these luminaries to express their personal visions for the kitchen, Snaidero gives form to their imagination in kitchens that transcend the expected. Notable among these are Ferrari designer Pininfarina, Asian Art Museum architect Gae Aulenti, and award winning designers Giovanni Offredi and Lucci Orlandini Design. From our most avant garde designs to exquisite interpretations of traditional forms, we offer our clients a singularly diverse portfolio of cabinet styles with which to realize a unique vision for their homes.
Viewing the kitchen as both work space and social space, we strive to design beautiful, engaging living environments in which to cook and enjoy the company of family and friends. In achieving our clients' functional requirements and aesthetic goals, our kitchens may by turn be elegant, serene, striking or whimsical....but never ordinary. "When we purchased our third house in 2006 we knew that the kitchen was to be replaced and that Michel Glasser at Studio Snaidero Bay Area was the one we wanted to work with. We had on multiple times visited his showroom and had the opportunity to buy a custom made Snaidero Bar from him which we love. The product is of exceptional quality, but what we didn’t know was how easy the whole process turned out to be! Michael Glasser of Studio Snaidero Bay Area is a consummate professional whose creativity and vast knowledge of design took our kitchen from a blank slate to a design masterpiece. We chose the IDEA design by Pininfarina, wood in coffee brown larch with aluminum accents, which turned out to be perfect for our kitchen. We added a couple of frosted glass upper cabinets with inside lights to for punch, and to showcase china. We also collaborated with Michael on counter/backsplash choices, appliances, color schemes, as well as lighting. The grey quartzite for the counter top and the red Caesar Stone backsplash compliment the cabinets extremely well. Michael’s suggestion of using the red stone all the way up the wall and finishing in a curve was design genius! Everything worked out to our satisfaction, even the installation. We worked with the installation team Michael recommended, who turned out to be professional, friendly, and timely. We have gone through a multiple remodeling projects on our two previous homes and his installation team has been the best we have worked with. Our kitchen gets rave reviews from all that see it, and we would look forward to working with Michael Glasser on future projects."

"We have the wonderful good fortune of having spectacular Snaidero kitchens, designed and installed by Michael Glasser, in both our California and Texas homes. We suppose anyone who has a kitchen designed would expect it to be functional and beautiful, and ours are all of that, but something even more remarkable and refreshing is that we started the design on our Texas kitchen over 4 years ago, and because of building delays, the house was only completed last month, and yet our designer, Michael Glasser, never lost interest or focus or patience with us.
