Design Destination: Grand Pigalle Hotel In ParisAuthor:Michelle Konstantinovsky
If you didn’t already have enough excuses to book Paris for your next international rendezvous, the masterminds behind France’s Experimental Group have you covered. After eight years in the hospitality industry, childhood friends Romée de Goriainoff, Pierre-Charles Cros, and Olivier Bon have just opened the doors to Grand Pigalle Hotel in Paris’ famed South Pigalle neighborhood.
Grand Pigalle Hotel occupies a classically Parisian building overlooking the villas of the avenue Frochot at the corner of rues Victor-Massé and Henry Monnier in the historic South Pigalle neighborhood, otherwise known as SoPi.
The 37 rooms of the boutique hotel were expertly designed by Dorothée Meilichzon to embody the bohemian spirit of the famed location. With details including original moldings, brass lamps, fireplaces, and more, the Grand Pigalle Hotel’s accommodations effortlessly combine comfort and luxury.
Guests will have no problem tracking down delicious, authentic fare without ever having to leave the building. Wine & Dine, the hotel’s go-to beverage destination located on the ground floor, serves coffee in the morning and cocktails and wine at night with an array of small plates to boot.
