Radiant Remodel In Kentfield
Author:Bryan AnthonyA family of four boys, a big dog, and two active parents turned to the team of Mansfield + O’Neil Design and John Lum Architecture to remodel a Kentfield home with gorgeous views overlooking iconic Mt. Tam.

Photographer: “We created a comfortable and beautiful environment for hosting friends and family, and for enjoying the spectacular relationship to the outside,” says O'Neil. The deck above includes outdoor furniture from Mama Green.

Photographer: Designer Lisa O'Neil says she was thrilled to work with a client who embraced an eclectic-modern aesthetic. This styling might be best observed in the home’s dining room that includes the “Nexus” dining table form Altura, “Patara” chairs from Soho Concept, and an accent wall painted in Benjamin Moore’s “Grand Canal."

Photographer: The large master bath is an excellent place to unwind. The flooring is from Waterworks, the pendant light is from Cisco Brothers, and the shower surround is from Ann Sacks.

Photographer: The home’s office is a sleek space with lush green views. When some office work needs to be done, the antique desk from London’s Hatchwell Antiques is not a bad place to do it.

Photographer: The bright and fun family room is a mix of colors and classics. The sectional is from Nathan Anthony, the “Tub” swivel chairs are from Harden, and the area rug is from Stark.

Photographer: The open kitchen has become a great space for the entire family. “The happy surprise for me is that the open kitchen/family room has really changed the way we live as a family,” says the homeowner. The glass pendants above the island are Niche Modern.

Photographer: Special inspiration was drawn from the stunning views and the client's desire to live and entertain in a space connected to the outdoors. The living room includes a sectional form Molteni and Co., Milo Baughman chairs, and an acid yellow area rug from AGA John.

Photographer: “The new entry, relocated to the ground floor with a new trellis, clearly welcomes visitors,” says architect John Lum. The entry includes a commode from David Little Antiques in London and an antique gold mirror above.
