Zillow moved into the old-school Standard Oil Building in the heart of San Francisco’s Financial District, its first step was to open up the entire space and give it a much more modern feel. Parallel to the online real estate company’s “get things done fast” style, the move itself was lightning-quick, giving design team Blitz only six weeks to completely transform the space. The end result? A brand-oriented space with a fresh design aesthetic. Zillow 8

The kitchen area can be transformed into a group meeting room, perfect for "Z Talks" conference calls with Zillow's Seattle office. The bird shaped keg on the right side of the room was created by the engineering team - happy hours happen every Friday.

With no formal offices, even for the bosses, Zillow's wide-open office layout helps all employees stay on the same page. Whenever someone wants to reach a colleague, they can just call out across the room (yet again a perfect example of their "get things done fast" style at play).

The San Francisco skyline seen out of the 11th floor windows is the main design focus in certain sections of the office, so the team kept indoor improvements to a minimum. The pull-out meeting rooms are private but still maintain an open feel.
