The Basics: A 4-bed. 2.5-bath house in Pacific Palisades, built in 1956. Back on the market recently and asking $3.95M– the house has been for sale on and off since October, 2010 when the asking price was $4.45M.

No So Basic: Along with a staggering view south along the Santa Monica beaches, the house was designed by Mid-Century master Richard Neutra for a Dr. Troxell and extensively restored/remodeled in the in 2008. The long pool was added— to Neutra’s original design— the master bedroom reconfigured and extended, air-conditioning added, but otherwise the house appears very much “as built.” Even if it’s not.
