SL70: Homes On The Cusp Of Silver LakeAuthor:Philip Ferrato
Hollywood history began here. Originally the site of Selig Polyscope Studios, the first permanent film studio in Los Angeles dating back to 1909, and one of the most innovative film makers of the time, SL70 is a new community of multi-level homes built to the highest design standards by Trumark Homes. Except that these are more than the standard elegant white box. The spaces are not only impeccably finished, but the streetscape (above) is enlivened by a mural by Cyrcle that looks back and celebrates the film industry’s long history of innovation.
Arranged mews-style with 2-car garages, the 2-bed, 2.5-bath units all have multiple outdoor spaces and range in price upwards from the high $600s. There are also a select amount of 3-bedrooms available as well. The homes’ second level is an open “great room” space with premium kitchens and appliances with hardwood floors. Bedrooms are just above on the third level and many units have roof decks.
Seriously, who doesn’t love a great roof deck?
