First Look: Classic Post + Beam in Pasadena, $1.9MAuthor:Philip Ferrato
Where: 1615 Hastings Ranch Drive, Pasadena
What: A classic (but late) icon of the Post + Beam Style that swept Los Angeles in the ’50s and ’60s, notably implemented by graduates of the USC School of Architecture, this handsome house has been well-cared for since its construction in 1971 by Thomas Dismukes.
Classic in the sense that the geometric interplay of dark grey structure, white walls, expanses of glass and the original tongue-and-groove ceilings are intact, plus a deftly inserted kitchen from about a decade ago by architect Barbara buying levitra Bestor.
Below, the master bedroom suite and renovated bath.
And the 10×30-foot pool is just delicious.
