Liberty of London Blows through TargetAuthor:Abigail Stone
Sunday morning marked the debut of Target’s newest designer line, a collaboration on home decor and clothing with esteemed British fashion house Liberty of London. Sadly, Sunday also marked the complete decimation of every L of L endcap and product display in the area. The online store faired little better, with most almost all home items being sold out within the first day. On the bright side, there were no reports of any moblike craziness (unlike this nightmare-inducing video of the introduction of Sonia Rykiel for H&M–yikes), so three cheers for that British civility!
And if history is any indicator, you can count on Target restocking within the next few weeks. You can also request to have an email sent to you when items from the line are available again online, or hunt out any remaining pieces at your local Target. Suggestion: Stores farther away from major cities tend to keep these designer lines in stock longer, so try your luck there first.
