Jonathan Adler Does Letterpress
Author:Abigail StoneCorrespondence these days is typically relegated to the holidays. Christmas cards, thank you notes, New Year’s updates – it all gets squashed into a period of a few weeks, then promptly disappears until next year. But this spring, I’m looking to turn a new leaf. Instead of sticking to email, I’m going lo-fi and returning to crisp, colorful letterpress cards. Everybody likes receiving a little something in the mailbox that isn’t a bill, but to be honest, I’ve got less than selfless intentions: I’m probably more excited to pick out the prettiest notes I can find than anyone will be to receive them. On my short list of lovely letterpress? The new line of stationery from Jonathan Adler. The cheerful prints scream spring, and seem the material embodiment of a happy thought – perfect for passing on to a friend. |
