Get the Look: The Perfect Pantry

Author:

This pantry has me feeling all sorts of jealous. First of all, just to have enough space for a room solely devoted to food storage makes this city dweller envious, but to also have one so well organized, so tidy, so practically perfect in every way–sigh, what can I say? I want. But while I may not have the square footage for my own storeroom, I can collect some inspiration from this lovely larder to replicate the look in my humble kitchen.

First off, I’ll start with a variety of resealable jars from Ikea. The simple canisters come in four different sizes with price ranging from $2.99 to $3.99–making them an affordable option for buying in bulk.

Next, I’ll look to Crate and Barrel for these large storage jars, sized right for holding flour, sugar, and other cooking essentials.

Finally, I’ll pick up a few lightweight baskets from Pottery Barn. I might not have room for many of them in my tiny apartment cooking space, but I’ll figure out a way to keep one or two filled with necessities like kitchen towels or, ahem, bottles of wine, close at hand.
