Design Dilemma: Bringing Moroccan Influences into Your Home
Author:Lindsey ShookDear CH+D editors,
I love Moroccan style, and I’m hoping to bring the look to my front hallway. I’m on the hunt for a colorful runner and a light fixture to bring the look together. Can you tell me where to find these items?

New York textile designer Madeline Weinrib has a lot of Moroccan-inspired rugs to set the scene in the entry. And here’s the great part: they are affordable! Brooke, the name of her latest cotton flat weave, is a favorite in these offices. This rug rings in at $350, which is a steal for a good rug. You can order it from San Francisco’s Lotus Bleu in orange, green, indigo, black, pink or steel.
To add a touch of casbah to your casa, check out the silver Moroccan pendant lamp from Neiman Marcus ($450). It’s simple, elegant and well-priced.
Horchow‘s Moroccan side table ($699) makes a great entry statement. Top it off with a turquoise-colored vase filled with bright yellow or red flowers for a splash of color.
