Under the Covers
I’m betting this won’t be a whisper-quiet gallery show: Beginning this weekend San Francisco Art Exchange presents “Lovers of Covers,” the iconic work of album-cover artist Storm Thorgerson. You’ll recognize imagery associated with bands including Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Peter Gabriel, Paul McCartney, Steve Miller and more.

Hardcore Art
Paul D’Elia began by designing posters for punk shows in L.A., and six years later has evolved into a fine artist—albeit with an unwavering love of screaming guitars and rebellious lyrics. An exhibition of his work opens at L.A.’s Cella Gallery this Saturday, and the first 30 attendee will receive a free screen-printed poster.

Show: REAL ESTATE

City Cool, Country Charm
Lemon, lime and plum trees populate the garden behind this 3-bedroom, 2-bath Craftsman in San Francisco’s Corona Heights. A recent remodel outfitted this residence with a gourmet kitchen, 2 marble-lined baths and a peaceful deck. Asking $1,545,000 and open this Saturday, 12–2 pm.
