Head for the Bullseye: John Derian Collection for Target Out NowAuthor:Abigail Stone
If you haven’t made it to Target to swoop up the new John Derian collection yet, grab your keys and fire up the engine! There’s still a chance you’ll be able to find a few items from the New York-based decorative artist’s line for the retail giant. True, things just went on sale this weekend, but fans of Derian’s decoupaged plates and trays–which usually run for $50 to upwards of $200 a piece–are snatching up Target’s inexpensive melamine-made inventory in droves.
Target’s online selection is also rather fleeting, but at last check each of these pretty plate sets were still available. Aren’t they just screaming for a wall arrangement? And since they’re melamine, you can hang them up without any earthquake issues. Shown, clockwise from top left: floral salad plate set, insect appetizer plate set, apple salad plate set, plants dinner plate set
I clicked on just in time to bag this tray. It’s no longer available online, but check back as stock could get replenished. Or scope out your local store, and if you find a hefty selection let us know in the comments.
