The Oakland-based design firm’s curvy pods are perfect for a backyard office that’s ever so slightly removed from the distractions of home. The exterior is retro-fun, and the interior offers a desk, storage, and can be reconfigured for a conference table or, if the mood should strike, a futon bed. (Nothing like a quick rest to boost productivity, right?) The unit can also come equipped with teleconferencing capabilities and other upgrades. (Mini-fridge?)
Best of all, the small space is under 120-square-feet, thus avoiding all those pesky permits required in California for most building projects, so you’ll be living the work-from-home dream in no time.
