McGuire Furniture Fall Sale
All designs by Barbara Barry for McGuire are on sale at McGuire, located in San Francisco’s design center. The designer’s elegant, classic pieces will be offered at a discount until October 12.


Art for AIDS
Tonight in San Francisco is the annual Art for AIDS party and auction, where 140 modern and contemporary works, from artists including Ed Calhoun and Rex Ray, will be up for sale during a live auction to benefit UCSF AIDS Health Project. tickets are still available and can be purchased here.

GLOW: Dusk & Beyond 2010
When the sun goes down on Saturday night, the city of Santa Monica will be set alight with more than 24 glowing installations as part of GLOW Santa Monica. After an all day set-up by artists and designers, including Predock Frane architects, the pieces will glow and be open for exploration all night long, disappearing the next morning.
