Beautiful Bike Shelf by Knife & Saw

I love it when a clever design stops me dead in my tracks. But it’s even better when, upon further investigation, I discover the designer is from right here in the Golden State. Such was the case when I came across these exquisitely made bike holders on the blog swissmiss.  San Francisco furniture designer Chris Brigham of Knife & Saw noticed the lack of elegant bicycle storage solutions for small space dwellers, so he decided to do something about it.

Rather than sidling your ride somewhere it’s bound to get in the way, this simple design puts it up on the wall. And unlike similar indoor racks, it’s a pleasure to look at and serves a double purpose, holding anything you like on its petite, shelf-like top. This would be the perfect spot in a small entryway to store your keys and wallet, keeping everything you need to head out the door–including wheels–within easy reach.

Brigham’s bike shelves come in solid walnut or ash, for $300 and $270, respectively. Find out more information on how to order here.
