Happy-Chic-ify your HomeAuthor:Lily Gahagan
It should be quite obvious at this point that I have a thing for Jonathan Adler. Really, how can you deny the appeal of a designer who aims for 95 percent chic and 5 percent happy in every room he decorates? Obviously there’s something to that equation: Not only has it provided the inspiration for many a sharply-dressed room, but it’s also formed the basis of Adler’s happy-chic empire of ceramics, furniture, and books.
The latest in the JA oeuvre? Two new books, Happy Chic Accessorizing and Happy Chic Colors, that aim to provide readers with the tools for creating their own infectiously upbeat interiors. Wouldn’t they make the perfect gift for the Adler-obsessed in your life (hint hint)?
And Bay Area readers, take note: The talented author will be in El Cerrito tonight, November 11th, from 7 to 9pm at the local Barnes & Noble. Get your book signed and pick his brain on everything happy-chic. Details here.
