A Smattering of Sales this Weekend
Author:Abigail StoneIf you’re in the market for some home-related purchases, there are lots of ways to do your shopping and save a little money this weekend. Below, a smattering of sales all around the Bay Area:
Now that it’s turning pitch black at around 4pm every day (thanks loads, Daylight Savings!) there’s no time like the present to invest in some more lights. Anthem, in San Francisco’s Laurel Heights, is taking 20 to 30 percent of all lighting in the store (that’s chandeliers, lamps, sconces – the whole shebang) from now through December 1st.
Arkitektura in San Francisco has got a big ol’ sale going on this Sunday, the 21st. In addition to discounts on Tom Dixon, Vitra, and others, they’ll have floor samples at final markdown – including plenty slashed to below cost.
DWR is in the midst of their nationwide sample sale. Stop in at studio to find deeply discounted prices on floor models as they make room for new merch. More info and store locations here.
Fellow CHD blogger Shoshana Berger profiled TrueModern founder and designer Edgar Blazona earlier this week, and mentioned that the company often hosts warehouse sales on their website. And what timing – there’s one going on right now! I’m currently lusting after their Luna sofa in white (shown above), that’s marked down to $999.
And it’s not exactly home decor, but Public Bikes are too design-friendly not to include. They’re having a warehouse sale this Saturday, the 20th, with slightly blemished bikes and seasonal gear marked down. They’ll also have a handful of vintage bicycles from the 50s and 70s on hand to purchase. More info at Public.
