What with holidays and all, it plum slipped my mind that one of the best home shopping destinations in California – H.D. Buttercup – would be setting up shop right here in San Francisco. The store has been an L.A. institution for years, and now, they’re bringing their mix of casual, chic, and eclectic home furnishings to the Bay.
The new home goods destination is located in Limn’s old digs at 4th and Townsend. I’ve yet to get down there, but thanks to my trusty investigative journalism skills (re: some photos I dug up on Facebook), I can tell you that it looks to be 35,000 square feet of design-loving paradise. Cross back chairs, patchwork rugs, burlap sacks-turned haute cushions? Yes on all fronts! See what I’m talking about here. Have you been to the new H.D. Buttercup yet?
