Bent Bicycle Basket by Faris ElmasuAuthor:Leslie Webster
An avid cycler, designer Faris Elmasu was disappointed with the bicycle baskets he found available, so he decided to create one of his own. Five layers of bent white oak veneer were naturally vacuum molded, and attached to an aluminum frame. Once he added stretchy nylon straps, the Bent Basket was born.
It’s light, yet strong and durable. The basket’s also water resistant.
The first batch of Bent Baskets is in production, and will probably be available in the spring. Contact Faris here.
