In that case, uber-soft sheets made from locally-grown cotton would be a superb option. They’re from Coyuchi, a Point Reyes textile company known for luxurious linens, and they’re on sale now for 25 percent off at Branch through the weekend. True, they’d make a nice gift for someone cringingly referred to as “that special person in your life,” but they’d be even better for curling up and in ignoring whatever date the card companies insist is so special. (Bitter, party of one!)
