Classics in Technicolor

It’s beginning to feel a lot like spring around here, what with the recent spat of lovely warm weather we’re having. Another harbinger of the coming season? Colors are popping up everywhere — but it’s well before the first spring blooms are scheduled to show. These bright hues are instead thanks to a crop of classic chairs being released in a palette of new shades.

Room & Board is celebrating the 60th anniversary of Han Wegner’s wishbone chair design by offering it up in a rainbow of colors. Above, shown in Orange, Lilac, and Plum.

And over at DWR, they’re taking Le Corbusier’s LC2  and LC3 armchairs and sofas and reimagining them in new fabrics and colors that span the spectrum. Above, shown in Light Blue, Chartreuse, Terracotta, and Ivory.
