Designer Spotlight: Donna WilsonAuthor:Lindsey Shook
British designer Donna Wilson has been referred to as the “Textile Queen” for her continually charming and quirky collections of hats, gloves, scarves and cuddly little creatures. Last year, she was named “Designer of the Year” by Elle Decor UK.
This year she has teamed up with British furniture brand SCP to add some whimsy to their new furniture lineup.
The Munro two seat chesterfield sofa from SCP is both classic and irreverent at the same time, ($7,600.)
The Henry, Ernest, and Frank pouffes all shown in treecloud blue are a fun and easy way to add some extra seating to almost any room, (starting at $390.)
For those royal watchers out there, check out Donna Wilson’s website. The Kate & Wills gloves ($55) created to commemorate the engagement of the royal couple can be found there along with a whole trove of Wilson’s quirky creations.
