Design Buzz: Muffin Lamps

Author:

They look good, they might even be warm, but don’t eat them! Muffin Lamps created by Paris-based designers Dan Yeffet and Lucie Koldova for the manufacturer BROKIS, are quite versatile and come in various shapes and sizes. They can be hung from a ceiling or treated like a floor lamp.

It appears like Muffin Lamps have taken the concept of trendy exposed light bulb fixtures and amplified it. The twisty metal base found on a standard light bulb has turned into a stained wood one and the bulb itself has become more muffin-like in shape and given a smoky tint.
