Alessi for Less: Sale Items 70 Percent Off
Author:Lindsey ShookAlessi, an emporium of modern tabletop design, is staging a sale in its San Francisco store, the only one on the West Coast. Goods will be discounted as much as 70 percent through February 28.
Discontinued items, irregulars and floor samples are all on sale; but there’s some interesting (and iconic) wares in the mix. For example: the Gold Nuvem bowl by Campana Brothers.
Normally the item, made by compressing a skein of aluminum wire, retails for $100. Right now, its price tag reads $30.
The sale also features the resin and steel Les Ministres stand from Phillipe Starck.
The item usually sells for $210; but through next week it will be going for $63.
The Girotondo Fruit Holder by King Kong, with cartoon character-like shapes piercing its steel sides, are classic Alessi.
The $60 items will be discounted to $8.
The San Francisco Alessi store is located at 424 Sutter Street.
