Prefab Profile: kitHAUSAuthor:Lindsey Shook
I love prefabs! I love their efficiency, mobility, sustainability, and style. But for many people the cost of buying a plot of land or knocking down their existing home in order to install a prefab is prohibitive. However, for those of you lucky enough to have a big backyard, a prefab office or guest bedroom might be the perfect way to add some extra living space to your property.
The team at kitHaus have created a line of smaller prefabs that are the perfect size for an office, guest bedroom, or pool house. Below are some pictures of their K3 unit that can be purchased through Design Within Reach, (starting at $32,450.)

The 117 square foot structure is ideal for an office but large enough to work as a guest bedroom.
